Review Notes: A very enjoyable smoke. Construction was perfect, burn was great. Made lots of smoke, not at all irritating. Smelled good. Had rich complex tastes that I couldn't nail down to specifics, but overall it was buttery, nutty, rich earth, etc. I smoked this right down until I burnt my fingers... loved it.

Review Notes: This is for the lancero sized only. For a detailed review see mine on the fourums. A perfectly constructed cigar. A perfect burn. A mild to medium cigar, with tons of smoke in the head and lots of mild cool notes of cedar, leather, mindt, nuts. A delightlfull smoke to the max.

Review Notes: I find both the toro and lancero in the RP signature line to be vastly underappreciated smokes. Perhaps the initial batches were lacking in flavor (as the early reviews here indicate) but recent examples show a full-bodied, medium flavor smoke witha subtle, smooth earthiness that I find really enjoyable. Beautiful appearance and burn only add to this cigar's attributes.

Review Notes: I love 1990 Vintage smokes by Rocky Patel. They approach the overall excellence of Padron 1964 Anniversary sticks while being more available and less expensive. That said, where does the "Signatue" fit in? The Rocky Patel Signature is a medium bodied Connecticut Shade wrapped toro. Not quite as complex at the 1990 Vintage it, nonetheless,delivers a "Cubanesqe" earthy smoke. I recommend this as, if not, regular smoke a rotational one that is quite pleasant. It may not have a myriad flavor profile, yet it is a solid choice for a real woody earthy smoke that is strong enough not to be buried while enjoyed with a nice after dinner port, brandy , or even single malt.

Review Notes: I STOLE A BOX OF THESE ON AUCTION LAST WEEK. I USUALLY LIKE SRONGER SMOKES AND BIGGER RINGS. BUT I HAVE A YEARNING TO TRY SOME LANCEROS LATELY. YEARS AGO WHEN I STARTED THERE WERE MANY OUT THERE. FOR SOME REASON LANCEROS FADED. BUT I WAS SURPRISED AT THE FINE CONSTRUCTION, IT IS ONE OF THE HARDEST CIGARS TO ROLL BY THE WAY. GREAT BURN, SMOOTH ALL THRU, NEVER HINTED AT GOING OUT, VERY CREAMY COFFEE DESSERT KIND OF SMOKE. ENJOY AS I HEAR THERE WAS A VERY LIMITED RUN ON THE LANCEROS.
