"Very Nice Petit Corona"

Review Notes: Overall, a very good petit corona. I agree with other comments about its looks and with JDG's comments about this being a better value than the Ashton VSG Tres Mystique. To me, this has less bite and is more enjoyable. A keeper.

"Age should improve this strong little cigar"

Review Notes: This is an attractive, dark, and firm little cigar. It draws and burns very well. Its best characteristic is the solid construction; it does not get damp or mushy at the end. It's on the strong side, delivering steady earthy and woody flavors. There is a vegetal taste on the finish. Some time in the humidor should help bring out this cigar's potential.

"Good choice when your out washing the dog"

Review Notes: First or all I will say that I love PC's and this is a beautiful specimen. Nice dark oily wrapper with almost no visible veins. I clipped'er and she drew very easy. First puff and I could tell this was a powerhouse. The only problem is all that strength and no flavor. I purged it a couple of times and it still had a charred and acrid finish. After waiting for this thing to switch gears I put her out halfway through. I will not be smoking anymore of these unless they are free and I have no cigars left...which probably will not happen. I enjoy tasty sticks and really only smoke for flavor and relaxation, so I will clarify that this is not a dog rocket just not what I was looking for. A decent stick if you're out washing the dog or cleaning gutters. Maybe they just need a long nap. I had the same experience with the Davidoff Millennium blend PC. I tossed that puppy out the window going down the highway.

"Decent"

Review Notes: Being a n00bie, I would say that this is a decent cigar for the money. It was the first that I have tried out of the Rocky Patel line, but overall it was a very good Petit Corona. It had a great looking dark oily wrapper, and smelled a bit spicy. The ash was light grey and stayed put for a little over an inch. I'm used to the Ashton VSG Tres Mystique as my small cigar, but this is a far better value for an everyday stick, and probably will keep the wife happier with a bit more money in the pocket

"Not quite as good as they look"

Review Notes: I'm ok with this cigar, but it doesn't live up to the 92 Vintage line. Not much depth, but the taste of the wrapper carries the day. Solid construction and appearance. If you can get them for about 80/box, their worth it.
