Review Notes: All the cigar shops really hyped these. Unfortunately it does not live up to the hype. Now I wouldnt thro it away but I dont buy them anymore. When a retailer points them out to me I just shrug and say Im not a big fan of them. The taste is alright but there not enough smoke and what there is is thin. Doesnt burn great. Leather notes and some sweetness.

Review Notes: I just can't say enough good things about this cigar. The cigar is just sexy: beautiful ebony box-pressed churchill with the burgundy and gold bands. Pre-light, I was getting unsweetened chocolate and deep leather bouquet from the wrapper; more or the same from the draw. Upon lighting, I noticed a slightly spicy, woody/nutty top note, with unsweetened chocolate and a bit of coffee in the middle, and a slight vanilla/caramel on the bottom. The taste was not muddled, and each flavor was specific. The after-taste was slightly smoky wood. This cigar is really superb. The spice came and went occasionally, with a bit of anise joining the party a bit over half into the smoke. This medium bodied cigar emitted a fairly heavy volume of slightly spicy smoke. The initial ash held on for about 2". The construction was superb, and the draw was very easy, maybe a little easy for my preference- that would be the only criticism I have of this top-tier smoke. I hope they never stop making these, as those cigars could become a regular in my humi. If I hear of these neing discontnued, I will buy a few boxes with the quickness.

Review Notes: I got a box of tubos a while ago and then another box just recently. I'll admit they are a bit pricey for the quality, but I was lucky enough to find deals on CI. The rich and consistent flavors keep me coming back to these, another plus is I don't have to let them sit in my humidor for more than a few weeks to recharge from shipping, then they are ready to go. The give a even burn, usually with a good draw, but I've had a few that were a little tight. They certainly do look great, and I often enjoy them at parties or on special occasions, they always seem to impress and make great gifts that are always enjoyed but don't kill my pocketbook.

Review Notes: This was a pretty good cigar but it's best days were probably due 4-5 years ago. This was never meant to be anything more than a mild, refined cigar. You just can't age something mild for 14 years and expect the flavor to expand. Good, but better suited for the $3.50 range.

Review Notes: These are good cigars but not anywhere close to as good as the retail price. Now that they have lost some of their glitter you can find them reasonably priced. All in all a very pleasant smoke, mild to medium body and sweet woody flavors witj a hint of spice. The burn is good and the ash is good for an inch or so. 3 to 4 bucks is about right for this one, any more and you could do better.
