Review Notes:
First...I like a good vintage cigar, if of adequate power in both strength and flavor...which IMHO, if lacking in those categories, is not worth smoking...I had high expectations with these, and I was not let down in the slightest...to me, everything about this '92 line is very appealing; the wrappers are immaculate, the roll is good (could be a bit tighter, although a bullet punch does well to compensate for this), the pre light aroma, and flavor is utterly enticing, they are well balanced and spongey and comfortable in the hand....Initial phase is as expected from a good vintage, very rich, mellow start and into the 1st phase, black cherry is dominate, with supporting notes of butter and smooth, rich spice....2cnd phase you'll become aware of the power, which I would call medium to full....3rd phase and finnish; astounding complexity, black cherry has now nicely mingled with butter, walnut, pecan, cumin, and is very spicey on the palate....I am more than pleased with this Vintage 1992 line from RP, I just bought a box; beautiful, simple, elegant presentation that highlights the perfect wrappers....a very classy cigar that I will treasure indefinately...Ten years age pre-roll, 4 and a half years age post-roll....extraordinary....my highest recommendations, but not for the faint of heart.
