Review Notes:
Cuban or not, this brand never fails to please in every vitole. This review is based on a single sample...very intriguing prelight effects, the aroma had milk chocolate with citrus notes with flavor to match...once lit, it was very mild and slightly sweet, remained like that until halfway where (some people thinking that this was a mild light-bodied stick) might be turned off, not me....this is where it became most appealing for me, went from light and creamy to medium-bodied (in the grand scale of things, some might call it med-full) with pronounced cedar and sweet-spice notes. I was happy with the experience and even happier that it only costed $5. Could easily become anyones everyday-morning or early afternoon smoke, which is when I smoked it....the finnish was good, slightly different flavors from the 2cnd phase...although I would recommend letting them sleep for about a year and a half, then it would really be something....If I do end up getting a box, I'd age in a non-cedar humidor-what I do like about this stick is the character, the multiple phase flavors, but since the power isn't enough to satisfy my tastes for a medium bodied cigar, I'd prefer it a bit lighter to satisfy those rare lighter cravings in the morning. This particular stick was perfectly round, great bunch with a draw that was just right slightly oily and thin-but strong indonesian wrapper, minimal veins, spongey, but full in the hand....Cheers.
