Review Notes: Perfect roll, wrapper, and draw. Starts off light and builds up nice and steady. Ends with a nice little sting. Perfect ash. Long, pleasant finish. Thick, mouth filling smoke from begining to end. Consistant from stick to stick. Taste of cedar, cream, mocha, and nutmeg. Tough cigar for some to rate because it doesn't call attention to itself. Flavors take turns coming forward without conflict. No need to adjust your draw or play with the position of the stick to control heat and burn. Only calls attention to itself when you're admiring one or another of the cigar's qualities. It almost smokes itself. Flavor profile is well within the medium range. Of course, some smokers (often the newer, fad following, obsesives) can't really enjoy a smoke if they aren't working hard to smoke it, annalyze it, quantify it, and almost wrestle an "experience" from every stick. This usually requires the cigar to almost "assault" the senses is some way or other. There is nothing wrong with that and if you are one of those guys, this is NOT the cigar for you. This one is for finding a quiet spot with a drink and a good read or some tunes and just letting the world go away for a few hours. A total recomend with the proviso that you sample one from the box before buying since these do benefit from a little (but just a little) humi time.

"A decent cigar"

Review Notes: I've smoked this down to the band. First impressions were good: the appearance is consistent, the wrapper is smooth and pretty vein-free. Construction also has been sound - and I should say this is in all of these I've smoked, as not one has had burn or draw issues. The flavour is perhaps what lets these down: they start of very mild, end stronger but still nothing more than a medium. This would be fine, but they don't taste of very much. As another reviewer said, these are quite woody. This isn't necessarily as unpleasant as you might think, as the cigar is very smooth, but it's not what I'd call creamy either. I've smoked pretty much the whole thing (which has taken best part of two hours) and I feel somehow 'unfulfilled'. I've nothing against this cigar, might even buy another box, but for the price there are better out there: Arturo Fuente Canones for example.

"Decent cigar"

Review Notes: The Exhibicion #1 is an average cigar. It is quite well constructed, and the wrapper is pretty nice looking. The burn and draw are good and the flavor is a combination of light cream & nuts. Overall it doesn't stand out but the combination of low price and huge size makes this a pretty reasonable smoke.

Review Notes: Long cigar. Beats the Churchill by a mile. Burn is uneven, flakey ash, taste is woody with a bit of a bite in the middle. Finish is smooth with a creamy cedar flavor with a hint of nutmeg. This is a golfer’s cigar. Will probably last 36 holes. I am going to age mine for about 1 to 2 years. I believe these tobaccos need to be softened to gain a more complex flavor. This cigar has potential. Just needs a little aging and TLC to ensure a quality smoke in about 1 to 2 years.
