Review Notes: This is probably the best cigar I have smoked in some 30 years of smoking (1 a day whether I need it or not). Expensie but worth it for those special times. My price is based on a box.

 Review Notes: Box code PEL MAR03. Another lesson in why it's a good idea to let certain Cuban cigars age. When these cigars arrived 7 months ago they had an intolerable burn, but the intensity of the flavor was apparent. With minimal aging, these have become incredibly good cigars. Meaty and deep with a straightforward intensity, they still require some tending during the smoke. The wrapper tends to lag behind the filler/binder, but not by nearly as much. My standard to this day is the Partagas SD#3. By my standards these still do not show the consistency or depth of the SD3, but they aren't all that far behind in flavor. The construction quality is still not what I like to see, but the aging process seems to be helping.

 Review Notes: very complex cigar. chocolate flavors as well as pronounced coffee and caramel flavors. good construction/burn. only downfall was it finished off kind of weakly

 Review Notes: A big disappointment. Uneven and bad burn. Terrible draw that I think was because of the fact that it was boxpressed. What's up with boxpressing anyway? Why boxpress a quality cigar in the first place? How cheap is that? The taste of the cigar was not impressive, not bad but just average at best. A Bolivar royal corona is a much better choice in this price range.
