Review Notes: Bought 2 boxes of these beauties in 2006,gave away one to some soldiers. Very enjoyable mild smoke that draws and burns well,with mellow flavors.Well Built pretty cigar if your out in public,but these mild cigars are not for me. I sent JR back a box of Macanudo, and a box of Partagas because i like a stick with more uummpphh, after 25yrs of smoking i need flavor, big bold flavor with my black coffee, maybe get some Denobli's.

Review Notes: I'm 2/3 through my first Lonsdale as I write this; and I'm very much enamored with this pleasant smoke thus far. I picked up two boxes sight unseen through the JR blowout. I did a little research on the Lonsdale and made the plunge at what seemed to be a steal at 50 bones a box. I had been chomping at the bit to try this one for about six weeks, but haven't been in the right place/time to enjoy one yet; so they've been sitting in the humidor, calling my name. Well, I'm here to tell you that this is the real deal, a top notch cigar that starts off with a spicy kick and settles into a smooth, creamy, cedar-noted treat. A superbly constructed stick with a nicely viened light brown wrapper, the light was easy, as was the draw. Through the middle portion of this cigar I was reminiscing of the equally tasty Fonseca No. 2 cedar wrapped beauty, another pleasingly gentle enjoyable smoke. Towards the last inch it gets a litlle bit heady, but stille pleasant. All in all a great, enjoyable 90 minutes. As I finish this review (and cigar), I am fondly anticipating enjoying and sharing 49 more of these delightful, medium bodied beauties.

Review Notes: Another purchase from JR at half price. Nice wrapper, great burn, quality taste. Very good smoke at an everyday price. I don't think I'd buy them at full price, though.

Review Notes: Purchased new Nicaraguan made at JR for half price. Appearance scored lower due to leafy (veins) look of wrapper. Construction was a bit tight. Lots of nice smoke. Very pleasant mild flavor without being boring. Great value if you get 'em on sale. One of my favorite milds to date!

Review Notes: Purchased new Nic manufactured at JR on special. Don't know if I would pay full price, you could get some other high end smokes for that price. But on sale? I'm going to get two boxes next time! Appearance is a little lower score because the wrapper is a little leafy looking (veins). Contruction was a bit tight. Great clouds of pleasant smoke. Very smooth, but not to the point of boring. Very nice, relaxing experience. Get 'em on sale if you can!
