Review Notes: This cigar taste toast, nutty, and touch of leather. Through the entire smoke unmistake Saint Luis Rey taste (coffee, dry fruit, honey sweetness). It is a pleasant smoke and need to be age to see the true potential.

Review Notes: This puro fails to deliver it's potential. The box had a few sticks that drew very well and were a delight to smoke, but overall the most of the sticks were plugged. Won't be buying anymore boxes of these!!

Review Notes: Ahh, finally. I have smoked, or at least tried to smoke, 4 cigars today. The first 2 I pitched about an inch in. Yuck! The third, a Fuente Hemingway, wouldn't burn, even after a year in the humidor. The last, a Car. Torano 1916, was decent, but cloying. I needed something that I knew would perform and deliver the taste I love, so I went to my '07 box of SLR Regios. Smooth, nutty, and creamy, with a firm draw and perfect burn. This is why I smoke cigars. I recommend them enthusiastically.

Review Notes: These cigars are medium bodied and have very subtle, complex flavors. If you don't pay attention you'll miss a lot that is going on here. Pre-light you'll find a slight spicey-sweet aroma. The first inch is very vegetal, like a forest after a rain. Then an undertaste of spice and flowers builds up, followed by a gingery pepper. All very subtle. This is not spicey on the order of a PSD4, but a cinnamon, numeg, clove type spice blended with the "leafy" tobacco nuances. 2nd half floral hints come into the mix and the flavors become layered. Mild spice in front, floral tones next and the tobacco herb at the back of your palate. Last third eveything picks up and intensifies. This is a great cigar for those times when you have a clean palate and can take the time to pay attention to the vast array of flavors. If you are distracted you'd be better off with another cigar.

Review Notes: Great burn with medium dark grey ash. Way too mild with little flavor. Draw was a bit tight but not too bad.
