Review Notes:
This one came highly recommended, so it was a considerable disappointment. On the positive side, the wrapper had small veins and tight seams. The draw was so tight I could hardly get any smoke out of it. Unable to draw air through it, the stick went out three times and had to be relit. The burn was really uneven, running 1/3 of the way up one side. The only flavors were earthy and very strong black pepper. The coffee and vanilla notes I’ve read about in the reviews never appeared for me. I conclude mine was poorly rolled and perhaps it warrants another try.

Review Notes:
This cigar is almost perfect for a medium smoke.
Construction is flawless. The flavor has such a high level of smoothness that it surprises.
A medium coffee taste with hints of earth and light pepper. I think this might be one of the better Cubans on the market for a 06 production.

Review Notes:
Got a cab of 50, also with box code UGT FEB07 like kevink868's cab.
This thing was so hard to draw, even after trying to coax it with my MTX multi-tools cigar poker from both sides, that it ruined the experience :-(
On the positive side, I still smoked it, even though it felt like my ears were going to suck into my head at any time !
It had a nice spice right off the bat, very pleasant aroma, and even though it seemed plugged like a $2 hooker, it stayed lit, and when it did draw it had ample smoke. I hope to god this is a fluke and the other 49 aren't in the same boat, as this stick seems to be packed with tobacco, but from this initial experience if the draw will cooperate these are going to smoke great right out of the box IMO. Unfortunately due to the construction issue on the first stick out of the box, I have to be honest and rate it appropriately. I will try another soon, and add a new review when I'm able to focus on the flavor profile of the cigar and not the plugged draw.

Review Notes:
I wish I had pulled the trigger on a box of these sooner. First from a cab of 50, box code UGT FEB07. Spongy and average looking, but the whiff of barnyard had me salivating the instant I got my nose into the box. Draw was ever-so-slightly loose, but not problematic. Previous reviewers cover the flavor profile well. Damp leather and earth straight away, with a peanutty note on the finish. The peanut fades by halftime, making way for chocolate and increasing spice. The earthy base flavor remains. Quite powerful by the end. (I had this after a light lunch and it ended up kicking my ass. Still, I'm tempted to go grab another as I type this.) If you can commit to 50, these can be had at <$7/stick.

Review Notes:
The cigar started ok but after the 1/3 third it became more complex than many big and shiny names. This cigar has depth. Draw and burn were first class, nice ash great looks. Great surprise for me as the manager of the cigar shop wanted me to buy something else!
