Review Notes: This is the first Sancho Panza that I've smoked, and all I can say is "what took me so long to try these"? A classy smoke that looks smart in a square press, the const. was a little spotty and needed a few touch-ups. I only have one of these from a sampler pack, so I can't judge the const. issues as a problem. This is a med. bodied cigar that has some nice spice to it along with a leathery aspect that I really like, and a long and dry finish. For around $3.00 apiece this is a great value for a top notch cigar, now I want to try the other S.P."s that are out ther

Review Notes: For under $3 a stick, this is really a good smoke. A little time in the humidor goes a long way also. This cigar isn't really fuerte though, I'd say its a medium bodied cigar. It has a nice sweet, mellow tobacco, leather, and woodsy taste. I'd recommend to newbies and experienced smokers. Especially for the cost.

"Solid smoke at good price..."

Review Notes: The first thing I like when I pick up a Sancho Panza Barcelona is the size and construction. This is, importantly, a well constructed box-pressed double corona that is a perfect mouth fit for those who keep the cigar in their mouth more than in hand. This series being called "Extra Fuerte" promises a bolder and stronger smoke. While it definitely asserts itself as a medium body stick I feel the name is a bit of marketing since, especially with a year or more in the humidor, this smoike is not one of the ones I'd call heavy. That's fine because what I want, and I'll bet you too, is a good cigar at a reasonable price...The Sancho Panza "Barcelona" is such that it definitely qualifies as good and reasonably priced I'm glad to say. Here's a few tasting notes, and keep in mind that this cigar is approximately 1.5 years in my humidor. At first light the cigar ignited easily. The matte rich brown wrapper was almost a rosado color. It was not too fragile except for the cap which cracked slightly upon a punch cut. After cleaning a bit of the residual cap there was absolutely no more issues at all with the wrapper. The taste at this point displayed a nice pepper that wasn't too strong with what I call "dry woodiness" and a very faint sweetness that some have identified as a caramel like element. Whatever the sweetness was it was very easy to enjoy. The finish between draws was clean as it did not overwhelm and linger. As I smoked it further I noticed the pepper seem to diminish somewhat noticeably. Maybe that was me being now sensitized to it, but I did miss that somewhat as I felt the cigar remained enjoyable, but it may have been more so if the "heat" was still there in just a small way. Overall I liked this cigar, especially at under $4 which seems to be a price that it can be found at in many shops. As far as cigars in this price point go this is a winner and it's construction is as good as cigars I've smoked at many times the cost.

"An Affordable Addition to my Humidor"

Review Notes: Don't be put off by the Fuerte label. This is a medium body, medium strength cigar. For the money a decent cigar. Well made, great draw, white and grey ash. Produced medium body smoke tasting of tobacco, leather, and hints of Caramel. This cigar has aged well for me adding toast to the flavor over time.
