Review Notes: Had high hopes for this cigar, but sadly it really failed for me. First off, WHERE'S THE SPICE?!? Really there was the faintest hint of a pepper in the first inch or so but really nothing after that. The "flavor" was kind of there with nuts and cinnamon but faded rather quickly to leather that turned harsh and bitter about half way through. Just not what I expected with all the glowing reviews here. Burn wasn't perfect but not bad either.

Review Notes: This is the 2nd extra fuerte I've have, the first being a much smaller shape. I am getting the same response from this one though which is not a good sign. Cigar looks fine, but once again, burn issues. It doesn't like staying lit, tries to tunnel, and burns uneven. I was gifted this with 5 months of age on it, plus I let it rest a few weeks in my humidor at 65% RH. The flavors are average with a bit of pepper, but too much harshness finds its way in. I think it is more harsh than strong or flavorful. There are much better sticks even at this affordable price point. Cigar feels a little soft which may be the source of the burn problems. Even if it was better, the construction issues are a big turn off.

Review Notes: This is a very big, impressive, stick with a paper thin wrapper that just looks spicy. This cigar had great construction and the burn was razor sharp. The draw produced ample amounts of smoke all the way till the end. The flavors were primarily spice with a lingering flavor I can not pin down. Despite a lack of complexity, this is a smoke I would recommend.

Review Notes: For the price, you can't beat it. Paid $5 at the store, can get for under $3 online. For what its worth, CA ranked it one of the Top 25 sticks back in 2004. The spice is understated, and in my opinion, just perfect for the smoke. Certainly one to nub everytime.

Review Notes: I bought a couple 5 packs last year and really had no real opinion about them they were pretty non discript. But a year later these are really a fine smoke the ones I have are blooming to the point that my fingers and lips are brown but well worth the expense of enjoying this cigar. At light up it has a leathery slight pepper taste about a third it got a little more intense, and finished with a cedar leather . the ash stayed on at about 1/3 each time. the only knock it has a long finish so smoke them early in the morning!!
