Review Notes:
The burn on this cigar is typical of all the Sanchos I have tried....excellent. Flavor is also typical of the Fuerte line, with remorselessly oaky tones and a slightly harsh start. Where this one diverged was having a cocoa/coffee/char overtones compared to the Cordoba's sweetness. As with the other Fuerte cigars, do not store this one without cello or you will end up with something very medium in flavor and decidedly not too interesting. Excellent value, although I prefer the Cordoba.

Review Notes:
Man, this little cigar kicked my butt even after a huge meal! Quite strong, but tasty. Hints of chocolate, coffee, and spice. Draw was a bit too free and the burn was hot and fast. But it delivered some good taste and spice for such a cheap cigar. Got a few more I will let age for a while. Would buy these again.

Review Notes:
Tried this twice, because I was considering buying a box and wanted to be sure of it. The first one, which came from a sampler pack, was really nice. Construction and burn were fine, and the taste was quite good. The cigar had a unique flavor something like a red wine. I was all set to give them some serious humidor space when I tried the second one. That one came from the same tobacconist's, but from an open box. This time, the flavor was like wet hay from a horse stall. Will the real Pamplona please stand up?

Review Notes:
Dark brown wrapper with small veins. Fairly loose in the construction. Quick burn and hot draw (this was properly stored, as well). Started with strong pepper and spice and settled into woody notes about 1/3-1/2 way through. White, flaky ash. Finished strong. Nice little cigar if you don't have a lot of time, but perhaps needs to age a little while longer.

Review Notes:
I had this cigar after a failed attempt to save a tight cigar. I'm not sure if the fact that this smoke was eaiser to draw had an effect on how much I enjoyed it, but damn was it tasty. Spicy at the start, but calmed down after 1/3 or so was gone. Had to relight once or twice and the burn was a bit uneven (but fixed itself). All in all, worth the money, as I will buy more in the future. Oh,and by the way: "Extra Fuerte" is an honest name, so do yourself a favor and eat well before the smoke.
