Review Notes:
I must admit I bought a box of these on a whim, just because I like Frank. Nicely packaged in a Black painted cedar box with gold trim, cigars covered in tissue paper, and the cigars with beautiful gold bands (strange though the bands all had finger prints all over them). In the add for them it said that they were symbolic to Old Blue Eyes himself, well they were. The wrappers were a bit tattered on most of the cigars but not to bad, the inside was still good. Ok construction on these, very light shade Connecticut wrapper, and about 7 inches long, a pretty good shape and size for a torpedo. These have always had great draw, unlit and lit, I have never had one of these plug up on me. They do have a bit of an inconsistent burn, some perfect some go all over. I used to smoke these on the golf course before I switched to the 5 Vegas torpedo as my golf cigar. I noticed that you had to keep after these to keep them lit, so if you’re a constant puffer these would work for you. As far as flavor and taste they are very light bodied, and not to much flavor, but creamy and nice, not too much smoke. I bought these from an internet cigar company for $65.00 for a box of 20. BOTTOM LINE: It was a bit of a novelty smoke, but it was just ok (If I was Frank I would be a little embarrassed), light and creamy, but I don’t think I will buy any more of these, only buy them if you like’em light.
