"Value smoke"

Review Notes: Mild, pleasant, generally one-dimensional. Well-made, no burn issues until last quarter (cracked). Quality tobacco for the price. Intended to be Cuban style and succeeds. A sleeper and not really just an "everyday cigar". Smoke it indoors and on its own to enjoy some remarkable value.

Review Notes: I like these. As far as cut fillers go, for me it's either these, Quinteros Londres Extras, or AF Curly Heads, depending on my mood. These come in odd boxes of 31, and have the same basic flavors as the cabinets, but milder and a bit harsher (which is to be expected, of course). Cedary, leathery, with a little bit of spiciness and sweetness and a woodsy, spicy aroma. It's one-dimensional only in the fact that the flavors remain the same throughout the length of the cigar, but when the flavors are of Tatuajes, that's not really a bad thing at all! The wrapper and cap are very well applied, in my experience, especially for a "bargain" cut-filler cigar. I've had one unravel on me, but I had dropped it (causing the initial cracking) and it pretty much smoked well anyway, so no complaints there. The burn is usually slightly uneven, but it almost always corrects itself and burns straight for the rest of the cigar. At way less than $4 a stick, they are a satisfying 45 min. bargain on the lighter side of medium. A pleasant, honest and simple cigar. Recommended!

"Good Frineds, Smokes and BBQ"

Review Notes: Some friends came over for a Friday night BBQ and cigars. After about 2 months next to my Cohiba Maduro 5's I thought it was time to spark this P2. I was pretty impressed with the sticks medium bodied spice, and the wrapper looked like a chocolate bar. I'll probably pick up a couple more of these. The price at my local shop was about $6.00, so the value is there. Maybe I'll go on line and see if I can pick up a 5 pack for cheaper.

"Pepper Bomb"

Review Notes: I enjoyed the P2 and thought it was a real pepper bomb. This thing was spicy and went well with a tomato beer with hot sauce. The construction was flawless, the burn was even all the way down and the draw was tight but manageable. For $3.50 per stick you can't go wrong with this one. I will smoke these when I want something spicy. The spice mellowed after the midway point.

"Not bad"

Review Notes: A friend recommended Tatuaje cigars but they have been difficult to find. This was the first I found and it met my expectations. The smoke was full bodied with a short finish. Tastes of cedar and earthy tobacco.
