Review Notes:
Full-bodied, but not overpowering. Flavor was predominantly cocoa throughout, though earth, leather and coffee came in on the last third. Smoke had an increasingly oily, chewy feel to it. Not as profound or complex as the Cojonu 2003, IMO, but still top shelf. Reminded me most of the last couple ISOM Upmann Connoisseur #1s I've had, minus the dryness. Satisfying despite the high price tag.

Review Notes:
This is simply a phenomenal cigar...but it doesn't come cheap. The cigar is solid and beautiful with a smooth tan wrapper and an easy draw. Even the burn is good. But it's the complexity of the flavors, from dark earthy spice to sweet and twangy creaminess, that really make this smoke stand out. It hits on all cylinders.

Review Notes:
Pre-light aroma was enticing. Right from the start this cigar spoke to me with flavor and character. After the first third I would say this stick is a medium to full bodied smoke with creamy espresso and wood. I started to have a burn issue that corrected itself and had lots of smoke. The draw was medium to loose and this toothy cigar emitted thick white-grey smoke that smelled all so good. Flavor was very Nicaraguan and similar to, but quite a Padron 1926 natural, which really surprised me. Construction was first tier, but not the best due to a few burn issues halfway through that I had to resort to my torch to correct. The dropped off at an inch and one half and it reminded me of some sharp pumice stone, which I could have swore I felt when it hit my ceramic Padron ashtray. I have read several reviews and many complained about feeling nauseous and that this stick would knock you in the dirt. OK, I was fine and really enjoyed it. If you are a beginner smoker I have one word BEWARE. This is for a seasoned smoker that can appreciate a quality strong cigar with some moderate complexity.

Review Notes:
Started off very flavorful and I was impressed--but after 1/4 I started feeling the buzz and a slight nausea. And I am a pretty seasoned smoker. I slowed it down and it was good most of the way through. But I'm afraid the power overwhelmed the flavor. Perhapes it'd have been better with 6 months more age on it but I doubt I'll give another one a shot. There are certainly more tasty cigars for that money. Power doesn't necessarily equate to good.

Review Notes:
Well, this one has potential for greatness with age. First 1/4 inch was an "uh oh" situation, but then it smoothed out but was still quite powerful. Yes, I properly toasted the foot. Nice flavor and aroma, very good through the middle. Paired with a nice dark rum, this was an enjoyable experience. I'll be buying a box and putting it up for at least six months. If you like powerhouses, this one may be for you.
