Review Notes:
i love this cigar, i try to keep a few of these in my humidor at a time and i have not had a bad one yet, the draw is easy, but i kinda like that, its not so easy that it burns too hot, just right, allways burns even, you want to keep almost all pepin made cigars with corojo /criollo at around 65 percent humidity. great full bodied flavor, earthy woody, leather and coffee. can sometimes seem like a one dimensional flavor depending on the size, i also like the regios which i find to be more of a woodsy/cedar taste and the unicos which is similar. the conjuno 2003 is better than the 2006, looks very impressive too, everyone that knows current cigars thinks its a edicion limitada from cuba because of the extra banding.

Review Notes:
This is one hell of a fine smoke. I do enjoy most all of the Pipen cigars that i've tried so far. This is probably one of the best 2 so far. I like the Miami a little better though. I personally like this cigar better than most Cubans i've had. The construction was excellent and the burn perfect and straight. Aweson smoke, just to expensive.

Review Notes:
Nice dark, veiny natural wrapper, with a cuban-like band that yells "11 dolla love you long time"! Draw was a little loose, and the burn was uneven the first half of the smoke, but evened out towards the middle.
Nice white ash that was a little flakey and not tremendously sturdy, which is seen as fallout on my t-shirt. First third of the cigar had a woody core that was very peppery with hints of raisins. Towards the middle the core became more earthy, the spice went away, and sweet coffee flavors started to seep in. It went out a couple times in the middle, which was annoying, but kept its flavor after being relit. It was burning in the middle much faster than on the outside. Earthiness really started to take over towards the final third of the cigar, but also had some harsh spots as well, which I had to wash away with my beer. It ended on a harsh note a little to soon, kinda like my last relationship. The smoke was nice a thick throughout, and overall I liked the cigar, and hope the next one is constructed a little better. Pretty unique cigar all in all. 85 on my 100 point scale.

Review Notes:
After six months at 65% RH, the burn issues are gone. Opens with the expected blast of pepper and wood, settles into the leathery profile described by Darbarian. Draw is effortless, but the finish is short for the first half. The Cubanesque twang arrives around the halfway mark, before paying off your patience in the final third. Walnuts, toffee and maybe some roasted (meat?) flavors come in on the powerful but smooth conclusion. A slightly uneven performance, but last 25 minutes is well worth the price of admission.

Review Notes:
I cant believe i didn't review this one yet... this was my first Tatuaje and it will do 3 things- remind you why you smoke cigars. 2, it will remind you that cuba isnt the only great country for Puros and 3, you will have a hard time choosing this or the Padron 1964...
