Review Notes:
This stick, with the hype, was worthy of trying. But, in the end it was a major disappointment. I was expecting a world class smoke. The draw was too loose and the flavor was eerily similar to a ERDM Robusto Larga, albeit at 3x the price. I'd say save your $s and just buy the ERDM instead!

Review Notes:
The Cojonu was my first Tatuaje, picked up as an afterthought at the Center City Holt's a couple years ago. They had one box, with only three or four singles rattling around in it. I had never heard of the brand, and it was double what I like to pay. But damn, these things looked good! By about 1/3 into it, I thought, "This could pass for Cuban." By 2/3, I was convinced it was BETTER than most ISOMs I'd smoked. I was left thinking that this stick had the depth and character that old-schoolers say Cubans had in the early 90s, before the ligero supplies ran thin. Anyway, after that first chance encounter, I didn't run into another Tatuaje for around nine months. Since then, I've snagged nearly every box I came across. Not all have measured up to that first one, but an average Cojonu still beats 98% of what else is out there. The box of Cojonu 2003s I have currently remains a little unbalanced, and I hope to have the discipline to give it a year or more to settle down. At a time when nearly everyone is producing a good cigar by historical standards, these still stand well above the crowd. Among the best I've ever had, with potential to age into a classic.

Review Notes:
I agree that this is a very nice looking cigar, but that is the highest mark here. The flavor profile is a bit one dimensional, but not unpleasant leather. The burn was not perfect, but was manageable. The price should be about 1/2 of what it is.

Review Notes:
This is what a cigar should be but the price moves it out of the top position for me. This price should be reserved for really good cigars.
Earthy with some spiciness and leather make up the basic taste of this cigar.
Ill buy more but not in quantity
Also, I have a gripe with some cigar shops. Morehead city NC and the BIG one in Salem NH. Please when you handle my cigars dont manhandle them. There should be an etiquitte when handling cigars. Dont hold them in your fist or move your fingers all over them. I get cigars with cologne on them and other smells like soap and aftershave. Grab them by the label when at all possible. THANK YOU!!!.

Review Notes:
Great looking cigar that has an absolutely perfect cap. Taste is Full-Bodied and smoooth... Boardering on perfect. Not much more you can say about this one.
