Review Notes:Not uch to add, except this, a nifty aftereffect - though the smoke did not taste salty at all, each of the four times I have smoked this, about fifteen minutes later, the fingers of my right hand smell like seawater. Don't know why. Just a mystery. Great cigar. Paid too much ($10!) at a cigar bar (thus my low value score), but really enjoyed it.

Review Notes:I rate by flavor. Havana VI is in my top 10 (80 varieties in the humidor). Complex flavor is fantastic for the price.

Review Notes:The Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles is a Pete Johnson creation which is rated highly by many aficionados. Pulling this small 4 5/8 x 43 stogie from the humidor I felt a firm cigar with no voids, a few veins showing along the wrap, but solid in construction with a color of light chocolate. The smell was softly sweet and not overbearing and after the cut, the draw was perfect. After the light, a rich creamy coca flavor appeared with a mild to medium body. There were some hints of spice and earth now and again and the smoke lay cleanly on the pallet. Later, some sweetness arrived along with some deep chocolate. The ash was heavy and quartered and fell only three times during the entire smoke. The burn was a little erratic at first but cleaned itself up over the course of the experience and never needed a touch up. During the second stage the cocoa continued with some nuts and earth in the background along with some white pepper. Later, the spices continued as the cocoa went into a reserve position. The cigar was still smooth and as you can read, it was very complex. Near the band, the body strengthened and the smoke was fuller on the pallet. The cocoa came back and then some leafy earth took over with spice and then finished with some black cherry hints. I burned this one down to the painful edge of disfiguring fingers, but it was worth it, with flavors all over the map. The cigar was full, complex, boastful, and it was an excellent cigar. When buying in a 5-pack, you can find these for about $4 a stick and they are well worth the price.
