"One of the best $6 dollar cigars out there..."

Review Notes: I just sparked up the Havana VI shortly after a Sunday brunch. I had a nice room temp shot of Hornitos tequila and a lime prior to lighting this bad boy up. Pre light draw was edgy and peppery, my tongue was numb after a minute or two of it sitting in my mouth on the way home. The exterior was exquisite. Short, fat, and medium in color with a very nice sheen. I noticed immediately that it was not so much the kick in the teeth that many of the other Tatuajes had been. It was extremely flavorful, but not as peppery as I expected. Very soft accents of chocolate but shortly became rather tangy. I complimented this unusually tart cigar with a nice cool glass of grapefruit juice which was heavenly. Another thing I have to note, is that mine, humi'd for a month or so at 72% was completely problem free from 1st light to nub. I found myself sliding the band down in anticipation of it's finish. It was mildly peppery, with a tangy notes throughout. Very consistent flavor. I only ashed this cigar once, and knocked a roughly 2 1/2" white block right off into the tray. I absolutely love this stogue. I can't say anything more than that. I'd buy a box if my shop had one right now.

Review Notes: this was my first pepin and i was a bit concerned wondering if i could handle but let me just say that this will definitely not be my last pepin. wow now i can see what everyone is ranting and ravin about. never had a cigar like this, never tasted anything like this - though i am a reborn cigar smoker not been smokin for about 8 years now- this is something totally new for me. awesome flavor awsome aroma just awsome!!! BUT the construction - im not too concerned that much about burn issues whoa but this guy needed help on numerous occasions, but hey, with the kind of awsome flavors i was getting eh the first time is always going to be a little rough

Review Notes: Have smoked two w/ at least 3 months age in the humi. BOTH had burn problems that required continuous touchups. The aroma and flavor were both medium but in a good way.

"Great, but w/construction issues"

Review Notes: After smoking about a dozen of these since my initial review, I'm a little less enthusiastic about the Nobles. My beef is entirely with the construction. Even stored at 63%, about half of these draw more firmly than I'd like. None are plugged, but many require some effort and touchups to the burn. Flavors are still top shelf, and refreshingly different from other Pepin fare. Still among my favorites on flavor alone, but with a noteworthy flaw.

"Not bad, based on suggestion"

Review Notes: Picked this one for an after dinner smoke based on the suggestion of the tobacconist. Great pre-light aroma, construction was solid. Burned extremely well and even, draw was a bit tight, but nothing to truly complain about. Started off with cocoa hints of flavor, turned to some coffee notes, then smoothed out to a pretty flat creaminess. A mild - entry level mid body flavor. Produced ample smoke, but not as much as my fav. Padron 64's. Price was right, wouldn't mind one of these again. Not a bad choice.
