Review Notes:
Meet my new favorite cigar, period. Luckily I bought several of these beauties awhile back and after smoking this one I bought several more. I've purchased most of these through Serious Cigars' website in Houston. They were a limited edition cigar at release and now have become pretty scarce. Cloaked in a bright red tubo, this cigar has a lot of swag. But the flavors were deep, full, and sweet which was right up my alley. Pete Johnson has made several other limited editions based on this same blend, but I actually prefer this over all of them. They will run you $12 if you can locate them.

Review Notes:
I tried to review this about a month ago but I failed to type in the captcha properly, lost all I'd written and didn't want to do it again. Anyways, I'm reviewing the Verocu Tubos (it's a torpedo that comes in a red colored aluminum tube). It's 6.12 x 52 and maduro. This was a truly exceptional cigar. I can't think of many that are better. The flavor was mind-bogglingly delicious. If I were a wealthy man I think I'd pay Pete or Jose a visit and see if could take the whole lot of em. I think this cigar is what Gurkha strives for and thinks it has achieved (but hasn't). While I think there are a lot of great Gurkhas, I don't think I've a single one that was this good, and I've tried about 15 varietals. If you like honest maduros (not the dye jobs like 5vegas series A, indian tabac maduros, padilla obsidian, etc), I can pretty much guarantee you'll love this cigar.

Review Notes:
What an f'in cigar, this thing caught my attention and kept it. different from the regular havana VI line being the cigar contain lingero tobacco like the brown label. in my opinion this captures the best of the 2 lines with the spicyness and great finish of the brown label while keeping the creamyness and great flavor of the havana line. my only complaint was the end of the cigar died down to a mortal cigar level. this is mt 1st perfect 10.

Review Notes:
Not sure what makes this special edition so special. I love the Havana VI but this was missing value and flavor. Don't get me wrong - this is an excellent cigar - it is mellow and smooth with just a little kick and a short finish of faint cedar and cocoa. Aroma nothing spectacular. Wrapper a bit toothy with a very big bump (stem?) just below the band. Burn was straight for the first half but the second half canoed. A touch up corrected this and it was pretty straight from then on. To it's credit this cigar never turned on me. Smooth and consistent flavor to the nub with no bitterness, ever. Is this worth $10? Maybe. It clearly has some age on it which I guess is what we are paying for here. I just wish there was as much flavor as in the regular red labels. I have one more of these and will only re-review if it remarkably different. I also have 2 of the East and am looking forward to them.

Review Notes:
I've smoked 5 or 6 of these and I disagree with the earlier reviews. This is one of the better new cigars I've tried recently. The first inch starts strong and spicy and then mellows into nice, refined, medium spice, predominated by nutmeg and cinnamon with a backbone of leather and cedar. I'm impressed by the balance of this cigar and the change in flavor profile as I smoked it. At $9.50 per cigar I'm considering buying a cabinet. I prefer this cigar to other tatuajes, with the exception of the black label.
