"Solid balanced smoke"

Review Notes: I think a friend put it perfectly: "this is what I imagined smoking a cigar would be like, before I smoked cigars -- in a good way." Yep. This is a compact, well-constructed cigar that strikes a flavor profile somewhere between a Padron 1924 and Ashton VSG, a kind of mocha-like flavor with the dark chocolate Padron plus the sweeter sunnier flavor of the VSG. At its best, it's an amazing smoke with few peers -- but they can be inconsistent, but still very much worth a try. Buy this stog if you're in the mood to try a dark, sweet stogie that is worthy of a special occasion.

Review Notes: I think I'm spoiled now. Everything seems to pale in comparison. Solid as a rock, no draw problems. Complex taste, slow burn, just the most enjoyable cigar I can recall smoking. I could smoke these forever. Sadly, I could only spare enough to order 10 more. Anyone have a box of 50 they want to trade for 2 or 3 humidors full of "other cigars"?

Review Notes: No offense, but what were you smoking Perry32. I will back up "Tarheel" on this one. Great review, nailed it "True" on the money no filler crap or hype. No need to ad my review. This was the "Exclusivo Zona del Este" blend. Perry32 if you can et me these at 5 bucks, I'll trade you some prime Vitolas for them. I've sampled the Cojonus 03, they are great. But I love these. I've had 5, before this post. I could somke these "For Day's and Years!" Great Post Tar Heel, Right On! Brother!

Review Notes: Alright, I have to admit up front that when I started looking for Tatuajes I completely expected to be disappointed. I mean, what cigar can possibly live up to the kind of hype these things are generating (at least online). After maybe seven different ones, I would count myself a fan, a big fan. This thing, and I'm a little bit ashamed at the way I'm about to gush, is possibly the best cigar I have had. It is better than the RC 184 and the Cojonu 2006. It is better than any Opus X I've had. It is better than any VSG, 1926, Coronado, Anejo, or Casa Fuente that I've had. It is just the best cigar, for my tastes, of any I've had, and I really liked all of the above. The wrapper was flawless, the pre- and post-light scent was very nice, the draw was perfect, and the ash was nice and firm (I couldn't see the color in the dark, but I didn't care either). The only VERY slight problem was in the burn on the last two inches only. It was completely even until about the two inch mark, and I had to quit at about one inch or burn my lips. Even in the 30 F weather I would have smoked this thing until my hands went numb. I was not thrilled with the $10 I paid for it at the time, but I thought I'd give it a shot (since I liked the Cojonu 2006 so much). Now that I've smoked it I don't mind that price at all. I would even buy a box if I had the cash lying around. I really wanted to find something to say that would keep this review from sounding like a sales pitch, but I just enjoyed it too much. This one deserves a 10 as, in my opinion, the best I've ever had.

Review Notes: nice looking/smelling cigar that is well constructed and packed chockfullo tobacco. Burned nicely until the last two inches when it turned sour/bitter. However, overall taste was nice - leathery and one dimensional but tasty. Got this for 5 bucks, wouldnt pay more
