Review Notes: The Vegas Robaina Unico is, IMHO, a pinnacle cigar. No, it isn't the boldest or the most sought after, but it is unique and very good. This cigar looks great as you would expect coming from the single foremost leaf grower that the island likely will ever have. Yes, this stick is suppose to be a true representation of the master farmer and it does him justice in both rich brown smooth appearance and excellent burn and draw. However, it is the taste that really matters when everything is said and done and this is one smooth yet complex blend. Smooth?, For sure as anyone could smoke this stick as there is nary a edge to it. Complex? Well, yes it is and here is where the experienced smoker can enjoy the unique flavor profile. It is light in spice, but is rich in myriad other tastes that highlight a creamy nutty highlight underpined with rich smooth leather and earth. This is a taste that never gets and when combined with a woodiness that interleaves the whole affair I would gladly smoke these more often if not for the price. I do like stronger sticks quite a bit and I'm a bit jaded when presented with anything else, but here we have a combination that is, perhaps, the smoothest Cuban that retains so much pleasing creamy flavor that it seems to just carve out it's own niche. My box is now right at 1-year in my humidor and they are at a nice peak, but it makes me wonder what if I kept some of these for, say, five years? What would that bring? These are unique and very good so don't miss out. I can't say about the consistency, however, as I have only had this one box. I can definitely say it was good from the start and at the 1-year mark it is noticeably better. You owe it to yourself to try these as they are so pleasing I will say if they are consistent they should be worth the premium price.

Review Notes: First off, I think these sticks are gorgeous. They feel like velvet. this baby offers a decent amount of smoke that is creamy with a cocoa base. After a few puffs there is hint of coffee. Moving into the 2nd 1/3 the coffee comes forward and there are hints of flavors that I can't identify. Finishes with nuts and cocoa and I look forward to my next go at this beauty.

Review Notes: The wrapper was beautiful, very small veins, invisible seams and deep rich color. Sadly, the draw was terrible initially, almost unsmokable. At 1/3 we got past the plug. After that, the flavors and aromas were wonderful. Leathers, spice, chocolates, lots of creamy smoke... without a hint of harshness or bitterness.

Review Notes: Now, this is a cigar. Great looking milk chocolate, colorado  wrapper, oily, with no veins. Excellent construction with the  right resistance to the pinch, not too hard. Beautiful cap, it  cut very easily. Pre-light draw is good, leathery, the aroma  is consistent with also some wood. After lighting, the draw  is excellent and the burn is sharp with a tight grey ash.  Flavors are excellent, starting with strong cuban spices, to  then include leather, coffee, cinnamon, nuts, and earth  changing every time you draw a puff. Midway through it  there are some bittersweet notes which should go away  with some aging. The body is medium strong. An excellent  cigar!!

Review Notes: This is one of the best cigars you will ever smoke. The Burn is great. Great tastes of nuts and spice. I prefer this over the Hoyo and the Saint Luis Rey. You will enjoy everything about this cigar from its long finish to its smooth draw. Dont miss out!!!!!
