Bock y Ca was the very first brand that had to deal with the problem of being counterfeited. Its owner, Gustav Bock, combatted the problem by creating the first-ever cigar band 150 years ago so smokers could distinguish his brand from others. Today's Bock features this historic band and is handmade in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Each cigar is pressed and individually sleeved to help retain its distinct shape.
