Review Notes: I bought 2 boxes about 3 1/2 years. I have smoked and reviewed from one box only until today. I wanted a morning smoke and for some reason thought a Cupido would fit the bill. Man did it ever. This cigar came from the untouched box and I expected pretty much the same experience as before. Upon lighting I noticed that the wrapper was much smoother and more textured than the others I had smoked. The first half was medium bodied and spicy. Flora was prominent with wheaty, nutty flavors mixed with an underlying sweet tobacco taste. The perfect early day cigar for the first half. The second half will get your attention unless you've had a hearty breakfast or lunch. The strength of the smoke increases significantly as does the buzz factor. I should have read my previous reviews and realized this is not a mild cigar, at least not the ones I have. A sweet Nicaraguan indeed.

Review Notes: For some reason I picked a Cupido churchill tonight. It had been a while since I smoked one. Well it was so good I checked to see what my last review said. Pretty good then even better now. Still on the strong side of medium, very satisfying even though I have graduated to the "fuerte" gars. Full of flavor and enough strength foor a Thursday night. this is a very good cigar now so if you have some stored that you may have forgotten about, try one you're in for a treat.

Review Notes: My first Cupido was about 2 hours out of the box. It began peppery, spicy and full with hints of flora and earth. They advertise Nicaraguan Ligero and by golly I believe them. This stogie was reminiscent of a Bolivar Fuerte on the strong of side of medium. A very pleasant surprise considering I had expected to enjoy these before lunch. Now I am hoping they stay on the full flavor and strength side and don't mellow over time as some have described. Only downside was the wrappers look worn with rough spots even a hole near the cap, but strength and flavor overcame it.
