Review Notes: $4 for this cigar is way too much. No wonder you were disapointed. I've been picking these up for a song and it's one of the better deals on a solid everyday maduro smoke you will find. I'm not judging just giving my opinion. My biggest surprise was to see my first review was over a year and a half ago and with all of these that have been sold there are only 3 reviews. No burn problems now, the draw is firm but good. I have to admit I was a little too generous with the flavor rating it is more like a 7 than 8.

"Box press on steroids."

Review Notes: This cigar is so box pressed it has creases pressed into the corners, which I guess explains the extra firm draw. The first one I smoked, or tried to, was creased so deep it had literally pressed the through the wrapper on one corner allowing air in and preventing any reasonable draw whatsoever. So with great care I patched it with the cut cap and surgically applied spit and saved it. I didn't want to rip this smoke based on that experience so I waited a month to give it a second chance. A mild chocolatey maduro flavor greets your palate as you tug the smoke through the barrel into your mouth. Savor the smoke while you can because you will have to work some for each draw. It did begin to open up at an 1 1/2" or so. Moving in to the second inch the tobacco flavor became richer and a couple of wings formed on the ash which held nicely and burned very straight. As a reviewer said about another smoke, I kept thinking how good this could be if they had just left the cigar alone and not tried to shape it. A more loose draw would allow you to relax and get the full range of what this cigar has to offer without the work. It just occurred to me the best way to describe the shape is like that of the stick of cedar packed in some cigar boxes, not very comfortable in the mouth. You have very good mild maduro here Victor, just lighten up on the roll.
