"Cedar & spice."

Review Notes: It just boils down to cedar and spice. Much smoother now but stout. Not the flavor I rated a nine before, must've had too much to drink, but a very good cigar. No draw problems with mine and overall decent burn. A good value smoke that competes with higher priced med-full cigars.

"Coming right along."

Review Notes: It hasn't been quite a year yet but these are coming around nicely. Still full bodied and full flavored, but now the flavors are rounding annd smoothing out. The marriage has taken a while and has not (IMO) reached it's full potential. Very enjoyable right now.

"Medium?"

Review Notes: I have smoked a lot of stogies in the past 5 years and this cigar ain't medium. I let these sit 4 months since I last reviewed them and they are smoother but still start out very peppery and full. It mellowed as the pepper waned and the flavors of wood, coffee and Nic tobacco blended for a well balanced smoke. The buzz factor dropped off somewhat about half way, but not much. I have to get more of these and age them for a year. This is a great candidate for long term aging.

"Youthful exuberance"

Review Notes: Very nice smoke as is but I could sense a touch of youth. I liked the first so much I didn't wait very long to smoke the second. I need more patience. Much like the JdNA1970, let these rest a while for the best experience. Now for the taste, peppery start from the criollo wrapper and Nic filler. A short strong smoke that stays fairly smooth down to an inch. Strength is med-full with notes of leather, wood and a hint of sweetness that sneaks through the power.
