Review Notes: Bought a box a while back and liked them, now after a couple of years they are so smooth.

Review Notes: Beautiful dark oily wrapper with a spicy, dry, sweet wood flavor accompanied by good construction and burn. I was a little disappointed in this one and stashed them and forgot about them for a few months. They have since come around nicely. Looking forward to the next 22.

Review Notes: Second from the box and now I get distinct citrus notes upon lighting and through the first inch. No tar like the first I tried and it's smoother,. The sweetness combined with the citrus/tobacco flavor makes for an interesting complex smoke. The burn got a little one sided reaching 2 inches in. There are better $4 cigars but this one is very good at the right price.

Review Notes: I think I found the answer to the varying opinions of reviewers of this cigar. Smoking it slow, to me, greatly enhances the flavor and complexity. It's sweeter and the slight bitterness all but disappears. The burn on the one I'm smokin' now is great. I touched it once at about 2 inches in and the draw is fine. I get a little wood, tar, licorice and molasses mixed with medium spice and a hint of soap. It made my day when I snagged a box for $52, at that price I find them easy to enjoy. I look forward to the aging and sampling process. Just knocked the ash off at 2 1/2" because I'm inside and don't want to push my luck. The understated white & gold band looks nice against the oily, dark wrapper too.
