Review Notes: Finally a Padilla for me. I have tried to give Padilla cigars a fair testing. The Obsidian was probably the worst cigar I've ever smoked. The Achilles and 1968 had nice flavors but I struggled with unacceptable construction issues. The Miami is too often so peppery that I can't taste anything else. From the first puffs this 1932 was lovely. Great flavors, not too peppery, and it burns nicely. The wrapper is dark and somewhat splotchy, much like a Cuban Monte. It felt firm and heavy, but the draw was perfect. It burned slowly with a gray, somewhat flaky ash. It needed a small touch-up around halfway, but I smoked it literally right out of the mailbox. Very promising flavors, with a sweet spice dominating. Value score reflects the $3.99 I paid.
