Review Notes: When I first fired this cigar up I fell in love with the smell…a really nice aroma. The taste wasn’t bad either if you like a mild to medium bodied smoke. The character of this cigar didn’t change. It’s not a very complex stick. There was ample smoke, it had a nice even draw, looked very good and unlike almost all other Gurkhas I have smoked, didn’t come apart on me. BUT, I couldn’t keep the damn thing lit! A cigar stored at 65% over a few months should not be this much work! So my construction score is still pretty low. Gurkhas are just not consistent enough. If I had paid the bucks they want for this stick I would be writing letters to my congress…..person. Would I buy more? I guess but only on sale.
