Review Notes: To date, I have to say that most Gurkha cigars have left me wondering……. The Vintage was kinda the same. I picked up a Gurkha sampler from CBid and with the exception on the Masters Select have not been that impressed. The cigar looked good but construction was just average with a thin wrapper that started coming apart. I’ve had construction problems of one type or another with most Gurkha's so have to assume this will continue in the future. The taste was smooth but too mild and boring with little real overall character. The smoke was quite nice, burn a bit irregular requiring a touch up one time but just too mild for my taste. It’s not at all a bad smoke; there are just better cigars to be had, RP Vintage 92, to name one. It is likely that this cigar came to me needing more conditioning. We’ll see what a few more months in the humi produce.
