Review Notes: These were the very first cigars I ever tried. Not knowing exactly what I was doing, I headed into the nearest CVS and said I needed as many cheap cigars as the twenty in my pocket could buy. Obviously, not the best way to get started. However, I was pleasantly surprised, and even after sampling several pricier options, I still find myself coming back for more. These are available in attractively-marked packages of five, and each is pre-drilled for your smoking convenience, wrapped tightly in cellophane. One of my few criticisms would be that they tend to dry out extra quickly, and it is important that you handle them gently, or the wrapper can easily break and blow away in the wind. Lighting takes several tries, and you may need to re-light halfway through. The miniatures build up a lot of ash once they start burning. The only way I could describe the flavor is like "the comfort of a rustic log cabin, punctuated by notes of slate and mushrooms." It is a very natural, pungent taste that burns quite warm. I mainly smoke these if I do not have the time for a full cigar. I am not big on the "little cigars" which many would say are "cigarettes in disguise", so this is a good option. It is big enough to be a cigar, but not small like a swisher sweet. I find myself coming back for the nostalgia, and the refreshment of a familiar smoke.
