Review Notes: I'm a big fan of Nicaraguan cigars, especially puros. I jumped at the chance to try this cigar made with only cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobacco. It hits you right in the face on the first draw. Starts peppery with strong, spicy notes. Some may be overwhelmed by this, but stick with it. Perdomo does this on purpose with most of its cigars. This cigar mellows considerably to a consistent medium to strong-bodied smoke. It’s a little stronger than most medium-bodied cigars that they make, but it definitely can’t be mistaken for strong. I think it’s the mild hint of spiciness that keeps on the strong side. It has the flavor consistency that one would come to expect from a Nicaraguan puro. The Cuban-seed Corojo wrapper is a nice touch. It doesn’t quite give off the aroma of Cuban cigar like the Criollo wrapper does, but your opinion may vary. It has a pleasantly smooth finish. Not my favorite puro, but I'll probably smoke it again.
