Review Notes: I guess all of us at one time or another encounter a cigar that we think will be that "treasure": An inexpensive cigar that tastes great, and you can just buy several boxes to stash away! I hoped that my leap of faith on this cigar would be that treasure, but it sadly was not. The apperance was great, and for a fleeting three minutes (the time it takes to char the end and take that first puff) I thought I'd found THE cigar. That first puff tasted dry and papery. There were slight herbal notes, but it was mostly an overwhelming taste of dry grass. The construction was equally bad, as it tunnelled on TWO sides, despite being lit properly. It also went out a few times, which usually indicates a cigar that is over-humidified; and this cigar was slightly dry if anything. To be fair, I let them rest in the humidor for a few months, and tried one again...I had the same experiences as before. I also noticed a huge variation in color amongst the cigars, indicating poor wrappers and/or lack of quality control at the factory. Hate to be so negative, but the pupose of these reviews is to provide an honest, personal opinion; and my experience was poor with this cigar.
