Review Notes: I have tried a few of these cigars and have noticed a marked improvement with age. The first one I had was only in the humidor for about 1-2 weeks, just to try to even it out. At first it was very good with mocha and cocoa notes, but then about half way through, it became pretty harsh- not unbearably so, but enough to taint the experience. My next go around happened when I found one in a cigar store with plume on it. So I anxiously bought it and had it with coffee and my- what a difference. One of the best cigars I have ever had. Super smooth, tons on coffee and cocoa flavors with occacional spice notes- devine! There is not much else to say about this cigar which has not already been effusively opined. My one word of caution is, make sure you age it for a while before you go smoke it, those who rate this one down usually have had a green one. This is one of those cigars that really changes and improves dramatically with 6+ months in the Humi. On the other hand, cigars like the Gran Habano No.5 only require about a month to reach a super smoke and do not change that much after that, imho. Great cigar- highly recommended once aged. My top 5.

"Very nice."

Review Notes: Started off with strong cocoa accents and about midway changed to a nice toasty taste. The draw was good and the burn was relatively even. Burns a little on the hot side and will generate a good inch and a half ash. The finish was in the manner of a stronger toasty taste. Vey nice. What I also like about this cigar is the absence of an aftertaste and a distinct buzz. I have tried some of the top cigars in the "sub $6.00" range on this site and I would say that this is a good contender, but definitely not as good as the Gran Habano No. 5. That cigar is cheaper and better. I am going to age this cigar for a couple of months before my next try. I believe that with some age this will be even better than my first experience. I would recommend this cigar, but recommend the GHN5 even more.
