Review Notes: I bought three of these from a local merchant a few months back, and upon closer inspection I suspected they might be fakes. I decided to try one out on a Friday afternoon to make sure. The fact that the wrapper and overall appearance is rough does not exactly set high expectations for this cigar. Once I got this puppy started, it did not disappoint. Unless you age these for at least an additional year in your humidor, you are in for a bull ride. The flavor was very similar to the Serie D. No 4, just a bit stronger all around. The darker wrapper should have been a tip off. Despite the less than stellar appearance, this thing drew like a dream and burned relatively straight. If you enjoy the flavors and power of the other Serie D. line cigars, chances are that this will be a very enjoyable smoke. I have very little doubt that these will be magnificent with another year or two of aging.
