Review Notes: Upon visual inspection the stick had nice size. Construction was good, yet color was light and lacked sheen. Pre-light aroma was good. Draw was a little on the tight side. Burn was even, yet lacked adequate smoke. If this were all, I could forgive. However, taste was the deciding factor. Taste was average. I can think of four other Corojo cigars I prefer. Each has its own distinct (yet indescribable) flavor. This cigar simply did not stand out. The Ovation lacked personality.
