Review Notes: Slightly bitter and somewhat harsh with none of the complexity of flavors I was looking for. At its best the Double R still ranks as one of the best cigars I have ever smoked but the current vintage pales in comparison.

Review Notes: At its best the Davidoff Double R is a peerless cigar. Everything about it is top notch: the beautiful golden wrapper, burn, draw and overall construction but it is the complexity of flavors that stand out. It is incredibly nutty, creamy & smooth with hints of coffee, butterscotch and chocolate. Medium bodied.
