Review Notes: JR's was blowing these out for $39.95 due to packaging changes in 2002 and I picked up five boxes. They have aged well but have to have changed the least of any I have sat on for this long. All the boxes I picked up were full bodied which is now med-full and takes a good inch before the flavor really kicks in. I will say that the construction beats the Cuban Bolivar Belicosos I just picked up and tge wrappers are golden oily perfection (I saved the best looking box for last). Flavor is nutty, with a very prevelant oaky flavor the last third; damn near varnished oak at that. But a good taste (hard to describe). The Aliados I have had one or two here and there of the last couple years haven't been quite the same though.
