Review Notes: After my last review in 11/07 this box got shuffled to the bottom of the pile and I have smoked three of these in the last week (only about 10 left unfortunately). After close to a year and a half in the box these have turned into something really special. I have had a lot of really good cigars lately and for the cost of many of them this stick aged up either blows em away or is right there with them. Strength wise this is med-full but VERY rich decadant almost overwhelming flavor with tons of smoke. Another benefit is that the burn on all of them is like a razor and I burned every one to less than an inch to hold onto and the last puff was still awesome. Very deep, dark, heady earthy leathery goodness that lingers through next week. If you're a Gurkha guy for the price these cannot be beat! Your patience will be greatly rewarded if you have the room to sit on a box of these.

Review Notes: A buddy gave me a couple of these to try about a year ago and I fell in love. I bought a box not too long after and have just gotten into them over the last couple months. All together I have had about 10 of em. Other than one that was hard to light and needed torch maint. the others have had great construction/burn and all have a nice dark reddish brown slightly oily wrapper. These open with cedar and a bit of spice and by 1/3 way in are a nice med-full earthy/leathery treat. With the exception of the 1, these have all been knuckle burners. For the price; especially for Gurkha, I highly recommend. *I would also suggest sitting on them for 6 months as they really evolve after that point into something more refined and balanced.
