Review Notes: These reviews are all over the map! I love this cigar when it's done right but I hate the inconsistent construction. I bought a box of corona minors and these robustos December 2007 and went through the coronas quickly. I am only half way through the robustos and have smoked four of them over the last couple weeks. The draw is consistent and they all look great with pretty reddish oily wrappers, but man that burn... I would say one in two requires CONSTANT maintenance with the torch to get it to burn. The robusto has a distinctive red-wine taste amidst mild spice and leather. A straight medium body (the corona minor is full tilt) with great aroma and very interesting flavors. I would highly recommend trying a couple and hoping they burn worth a shit. IF the burn issues werent what they are I would not only suggest a box to others I would always have one on hand. When this box is empty there will never be another LADC box in my humidor again. I even bought these from Holt's and they own the brand along with Ashton and make the damn things. Overall smoking experience: Frustrating.
