Review Notes: Pepin reminds me of Rocky Patel. He is plastering blends all over the place. All of them are at least decent, thanks to great construction. However, his cigars are all the rage right now and you find yourself paying more than you should for a decent cigar, not a great cigar. This is a perfect example. The cigar looks and burns nice, but the flavor is nothing special in the maduro family. It is better than a Cu-Avana, but not so high up the ladder that you would not take the Cu-Avana for the money savings.
