Review Notes: This was the 1st Gurkha I've experienced and an experience it was. Wrapper was beautiful and flawless with a light shade and lovely sheen. I punched this one and the draw and burn were outstanding. Volumes of rich, white smoke eminated with a floral aroma. Ash was perfect, extending 1.5"+ and very white. I didn't expect this cigar to be so smooth and mellow. Smoke was very mild to medium-bodied, but very balanced. In the 1st 1/3 there were notes of coffee and cream. During the 2nd 1/3, some sweet spices and cedar were presented. In the last 3rd, cedar, spices and other woody notes became stronger. Finish was very pleasant and I smoked this one to the nub. I can't wait to try the other Gurkhas I got in my "Best of Gurkha" sampler 10-pack!!
