Review Notes: If you have read my review on the Cusano 18 Churchill you know that I have been less than impressed with the Cusano 18. After smoking the robusto I must say I have changed my mind a bit. I still think that this is an incredibly straight forward cigar for being aged 18 years but there is one main thing that the robusto has that the churchill doesnt and this is MORE FLAVOR! The churchill had subtle creamy flavors and subtle hints of wood where the robusto had the same flavors just twice as strong. Dont take that the wrong way though. The cigar is very mild and very smooth still. Just like the churchill I havent had any construction problems with the robusto and the burn has been spot on as well. The ash is a little loose but has nice gray color. The last third of the cigar is similar to the churchill in that it is a bit green (young) tasting but I find it more pleasurable than the churchills finale. The aftertaste can be a little rough around the edges due to the "green" flavor and thats my biggest complaint. Overall its a decent cigar but a mile and a half from first tier. Dont take my word for it though, try it for yourself!
