Review Notes: I was encouraged by the other reviews of this cigar, but I also know that doesn't guarantee it's going to be to my tastes. I was pleased, though. It's appearance is good, and the first inch had quite a wide variety of flavours. There was definitely a rich, peppery flavour, but it was also sweet at times too. Perhaps the only low point was it became a little weak after this first inch and for the next couple, but even then it wasn't unpleasant, just missing some of the complexity it had had to start with. The construction was generally very good, with at least an inch of ash forming throughout. The last half tends to get - not surprisingly - a bit stronger, but it isn't unpleasant and could perhaps best be described as a medium strength. There were some woody and leather flavour to be found here, and I think most people would enjoy it. I normally prefer mild cigars, but this one is medium and I liked it. I should pobably say this had been aged a few years, but it certainly givesme faith enough to try some others if they come my way.
