Review Notes: This smoke was the El Feroz version of the P3000. Pre-light aoma is uniquely sour but not unpleasant. Supposedly the El Feroz tobacco was stored in sherry casks for 50 years. It fires up with tons of smoke and a flood of great flavor. Draw remains very light. I'm not sure why some people think this line should taste like the cubans they have been smoking. I'd expect tobacco this old to be unique no matter where it came from. No problems here with flavor. Construction/burn another story. Burn was uneven in the first half, requiring several corrections. Ash was too soft and flakey, falling on its own several times and causing more burn problems. Overall I'd say this smoke is a novelty. Great story, great flavor, mediocre construction. The price is what you would expect to pay for a limited supply product with this history, but it's still way too high. I'd recommend that you try one or two so you can say that you did, but don't expect the heavens to open up.
