Review Notes: Try letting this smoke humidify for about a month. I did and found the Obsidian to be one of my favorite Padillas (second only to the Signature 1932). The second half of this smoke produced great billows of wonderfully flavored smoke. Cashews and Caramel mixed with Espresso. The properly humidified smoke really toned down the spice towards the finish. It is odd....but i would compare the smoothness of the finish to that of the milder 5 Vegas Gold. Give this smoke a chance and you would undoubtedly add it to you humidor on a regular basis. It's a third the price of a 1932 and falls just a point or two short on flavor. A fantastic bargin at 3 bucks a stick.
