Review Notes: This was the first gar I ever had and, perhaps out of nostalgia, I still love it. For anybody making their way from mild to medium or full bodied cigars, the CAO Gold Maduro is a great introduction that won't kick your wallet's butt. The flavor is smooth and mellow with a choclaty note and is a good start before moving to the CAO VR and Mx2 which are much more complex and powerful (and expensive). The construction of the ones I have had have been great, but they were all from the same batch. Draw as nice and easy. The burn was nice and even and had a nice aroma when first lit.
