Review Notes: These are beautiful, and in my opinion, have helped bring Perdomo "back". The golden wrapper is the icing on the cake and is as nice as an Ashton or Davidoff CT wrapper. It's very silky to the touch. The construction is top-notch. I have smoked the X (Torpedo), E (Toro), and R (Robusto), and all are excellent. The biggest improvement from old Perdomos are the draw and burn issues. I believe that they are solved with these new Perdomos. The draw is always cool and even. The flavors are well balanced and blended. The Champagne's start very smooth and silky and gradually increase to a slightly peppery medium body cigar. They produce voluminous amounts of smoke. They are a real winner. If you haven't yet tried one, you owe it to yourself to do so.
