Review Notes: The Carbonell Toro is probably one of my all time favorite cigars. No matter what else I try (including $50 Cubans) I always enjoy comming back to this cigar. There is a reason that this is the No 1 selling premium cigar in the Dominican Republic (where this is made), although it's surprisingly not reasily available at most cigar ships. They treat the wrapper with sugar water during fermentation, which gives it that terrific sweetnes. The best thing about this smooth smoke is the sweetnes without any added 'flavor'. Highly recomended.
